My name is Mekaila, and I’m a dog mom, service-dog handler, and creator who focuses on real-life owner training and lifestyle content.\nI share my journey with my two dogs, Ace and Laila – one fully trained service dog and one service dog in training – along with the ups, downs, and unfiltered progress that comes with being a dog parent.\n\nMy experience with dogs is very personal and purpose-driven.\nI actually grew up fearful of dogs and didn’t understand their behavior, but God placed dogs in my life in such a intentional way. Through Ace and Laila, He transformed that fear into passion, purpose, and confidence. Because of that, I understand what it feels like to learn as you go – and that’s the kind of encouragement I pour into my community.
